Thank you for your interest in the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
Each visitor must agree to abide by the guidelines set forth by UMES:
- Temperature check and symptom screening: Upon your arrival to campus, and to the Office of Admissions & Recruitment, you will be required to check in with staff members for a temperature check and COVID-19 questionnaire. Those with temperatures 100.4F or above or with active symptoms will not be allowed to visit campus.
- Social Distancing. Guests are required to practice social distancing and remain six feet apart whenever possible while visiting campus.
- Face coverings required for Guests ages 2 and up. All visitors are expected to wear a face mask/covering while on campus. This includes all times inside any building on campus and outside when social distancing cannot be maintained.
- An increased focus on disinfecting and sanitation. Guests are highly encouraged to use hand sanitizing stations and wash hands frequently while visiting campus.
