take a walk around the Flag Mall close to the Academic Oval. It really displays our sense of diversity and representation of our student's origins and countries they soar from to UMES.

as a UMES Alumna, my favorite UMES traditions are Homecoming, Spring Festival, and Coronation the crowning of our Royal Court.

My advice to prospective students would be...

don't be afraid to ask for help at UMES. There are Alumni, Faculty, Staff, and your Peers that are always here to help you SOAR towards your goals. We are your HAWK FAMILY!!
